台灣快跟「國病」的肝病說bye bye！根據台灣肝臟研究學會最新流行病學調查資料顯示，目前全台B型肝炎帶原者約171萬，已跌破200萬大關，醫界認為這是政府陸續推動全面接種疫苗、健保給付藥物之後的好消息，推估2030年帶原人口有望進一步降至百萬以下，讓撲滅B肝、擺脫國病不再是遙遠的目標。

台灣肝臟研究學會執行委員、林口長庚醫院副院長簡榮南強調，過去國內B肝人口大約都在350萬左右，近2年來，健保擴大B肝健保給付，加上先前的疫苗政策，雙管齊下，帶原率從15%跌至1%，堪稱是一大好消息。

防治雖有成，但仍有隱憂。簡榮南說，171萬B型肝炎帶原者中，有4成、約68萬人需進行治療，偏偏需治療的患者當中，卻仍有高達27萬人不知自己為B肝帶原者，部分恐還是會走上肝癌這一條路，成為根除B肝的困難點。

另一方面，台灣B肝盛行主要原因在於母嬰垂直感染，但根據文獻報告發現，高傳染力的孕婦所產下的嬰兒仍有約10%變成漏網之魚，在母親胎內已遭受感染。

林口長庚醫院內科部長林俊彥強調，一年仍有約200多名嬰兒因母子垂直感染帶原，所幸，今年初健保又再通過B肝高傳染孕婦2款用藥納入健保，只要是驗出病毒量高的高危險群母親能從懷孕30周起一路吃B型肝炎抗病毒藥物至產後1個月，傳染給新生兒的機率就能從10%減少至1%。

簡榮南建議，疫苗、用藥，政府皆已投入資源，但全面篩檢B肝仍有缺口需要補強，雖然現行國健署提供民國55年或以後出生且滿45歲的民眾，終身可接受一次B肝篩檢服務，但還不如來一次全面性的篩檢服務，更有助於讓不知道自己帶原的民眾有所警覺。
